Acupuncture to bring on labour

Acupuncture to bring on labour

When should you start getting Acupuncture to bring on labour?

Women usually come in to us seeking Acupuncture to bring on labour from the first day of their due date.  You can come in before your due date for labour preparation treatments, this include things like turning a breech baby to the correct position, cervix ripening, you can even get acupuncture to help with things like restless legs or to help reduce swelling in hands and ankles, etc..  See below section of How often should you get Acupuncture to bring on labour.

Can you get Acupuncture to bring on labour before your due date?

This is generally not recommended and be wary of anyone offering to induce you earlier than your due date, they may just be after a quick buck & may not be putting the health & safety of you & your baby first.  You want to be sure that baby is ready, so talk to your doctor and get the ok from them if you are looking to be induced early.

How often should you get Acupuncture to bring on labour?

Sometimes all you will need is one treatment to get things moving along, sometimes more than one treatment per week is useful. How often you will need Acupuncture to bring on labour actually varies from woman to woman, the reason being that every woman & their baby presents in their own unique situation.  Some women who come in are on their due date, some are well over their due date.  Some women’s cervix is not yet favourable, some are.  Sometimes baby’s head is engaged, sometimes not.  If you do need Acupuncture to bring on labour more than once a week, there is good news price wise if you come to our clinic-see below.

How much does Acupuncture to bring on labour cost?

We only charge 60 euro.  And the even better news is that if you need Acupuncture to bring on labour more than once a week to get things moving along, we will only ever charge you for one appointment per week no matter how many times you come in for treatment, it’s our way of giving back and supporting women in the pursuit of starting labour naturally.  There are far too many medical inductions in our opinion and we want to help change the number of medically induced labours with our Acupuncture to bring on labour.
